Lions are now at the quota of American imports and Jordans.

Lions were offering tickets for all home games for £9.99 (54% off) via TimeOut earlier this week. I wouldn't have thought that pushing this kind of offer would be necessary if Ovie was actually signing (although the full price of £22 for a ticket is pretty steep, in my opinion). Someone is going to look pretty daft if he doesn't sign, given the suggestions that were put out on their social media last week.

His numbers in Luxembourg are nuts. What's the standard there like compared to BBL?

He played on the same team as Ahmad Thomas, who came to Eagles last year but got cut after just one game. Not sure you should read anything into that - I spent much of the season what would have happened if we hadn’t!

His numbers in Luxembourg are nuts. What's the standard there like compared to BBL? The standard in Luxembourg is very poor. People are often critical about the quality of the BBL but I can assure you it’s definitely above the standard of Luxembourg’s premier league. Tabb’s averages were insane out there, 27 points, 16 rebounds with 2 steals per game. He was a very good BBL player but was a long way away from posting anything like those numbers night in night out. I think it’s going to be a wait and see with this guy- time will tell how he settles into the city, the league (refs!) and the team. I’m sure London fans will remember Brian Voelkel, who acts as a cautionary tale in terms of producing mad stats abroad, but not quite matching those very high standards in the BBL. He averaged something like 15 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists in the Aussie State League before signing in London and departing in December due to not settling well in London and wanting a more small town life (absolutely top bloke he was too!).
