NIX did well to stay in the game given their injuries / squad issues - Cilo played less than 5 minutes and looked off colour, Johde out with a rolled ankle, Kareem on crutches, Dizzy injured in game. Given this and the fact that McRae still hasn't shown up yet, they had to bring a stand-in for the final game.
The medical team are going to need to work overtime to put together a team for the Eagles / Riders this weekend.
On the plus side, PJC was excellent, he's going to be a handful for every team this year.

Good point, they've put out an injury update and said Michael's injury is just heavy bruising. Fingers crossed he'll be back for the weekend, we really lack size without him. Karim confirmed out with a broken metatarsal, 5 - 6 weeks recovery and McRae awaiting passport from the British Embassy before joining us. Never a dull moment! |
