I'm a Rocks fan, but bizarrely found whatsbev through a link on the Eagles website, many seasons ago. This was in the days of individual boards for each team, and Eagles (the club) had a link to Eagles (the whatsbev fan page) on their website.

I was standing at the door of the pink flamingo, crying in the rain* and someone told me about it.
I can barely remember what I had for dinner last night, how I found a forum 20+ years ago is a mystery. I guess was either told about it or it was linked from the Leopards' messageboard.

Gonk, can't exactly remember how I ended up on the old forum, all I remember was Gonk talking to me one day and the rest is history.
I've enjoyed it, it's even better when you've got people who've played or are still playing the game giving their valued opinion.

Don’t really remember, but I’d be surprised if it was anything other than Google. It was longer ago than my account probably suggests though - I lurked for a while, and had a couple of sign-ups that were never approved on the old forum.
