Anything less than a 30 point loss for Glasgow is a bonus. Maybe things will change now that’s Fab isn’t there.

Absolutely - will either team have extra players available ? Hussein has said he will be available for Fridays game. Not sure about the status of Glasgows & Schlitzer visas, or the status of Themba & Sauveur.

We need a few more on the bench, we looked exhausted in the final quarter of both games last weekend

We need a few more on the bench, we looked exhausted in the final quarter of both games last weekend Good to see Eddie finally be able to properly begin to bed in rather than being a bench warmer brought on in the last few minutes, getting himself wide open and never getting the ball. Once Hussein, Schlitzer and Glasgow are in the rotation I think we will gain a lot more energy. Especially Glasgow if he brings the energy he showed in pre-season.

That is one of the plus points of having so many players unavailable at the moment. Eddie looks more confident this season, not sure if it is because he knows or thinks he will get more minutes with Ian in charge than with Fab but either way it can only help the team.

Not sure about the status of Glasgows & Schlitzer visas, or the status of Themba & Sauveur. In the story about Kai newcastle-eagles.com/news/thrilling-start-to-williams-third-season/ he said: “I’m pretty sore right now and the bus trip there and back didn’t help but that’s things we can’t get away from. I’ll have a nice physio appointment and just revaluate the situation daily. It helps that we’re probably going to add three more bodies for this weekend’s game.” “Themba is back practising and Nick looks like getting his clearance through and Sauveur was also practicing. I just need to talk with Ian MacLeod and talk things over. It’s only September so there’s no point in just trying to get through anything. I need to take care of myself to be ready to go.”

Mark Woods seemed to suggest he would be a few weeks away on commentary in Sundays game.

If Glasgow have both men they were missing on Sunday back we may struggle.

Too close to call ... I imagine the game will play out similar to last Sundays ... it could go either way in Q3 & Q4 On that note ... Eagles to just edge it (hopefully)

Can’t wait for this one, should be another good game.
Would be good to have a full roster but not sure it’s going to happen yet, hope am wrong and players that have been injured or not been able to play due to registration issues are able to now play.
Not seen Hussein yet so excited to see him play and after seeing Glasgow Jr and Schlitzer play in preseason I know what they can do so it would be great to have them to call upon.

Yep, but we are still going to go, now and again, just not every game.

Rocks are a damn good team this season. Without Fraser too
Eagles really missed Morsell at both ends of the floor when he went out. Hopefully he’s ok.

The two big guys being available made a difference for the Rocks (should have been able to see it out last week but didn’t).
The YouTube coverage is shocking. Clock all over the place, can’t cover the whole court, no shot clock.

Really like the make up of our team. Both teams did their best to lose it. Pryor is the xfactor. Ali fraser sunday, ebala today, our inside game was the best I've seen it. Jb and malcolm chipping in off the bench makes us stronger than last season.

Well, that's a turn up for the book. So, Rocks, Eagles, Wolves, Lions and Royals will cause upsets this season. Last time Rocks beat Eagles on their court?

Obviously Pryor and Djo Ebala were superb and had the biggest contributions in points, assists and rebounds, but I think credit should also go to Coach Vincent for his adjustments at half time, and to the others who also upped their game in a good 2nd half - Gareth, Tadas, JB, and Fraser. And Eli was important in the final quarter and in overtime. Their Index numbers look poor, but they don't tell the full story.
Excellent commentary from Jeff and Dave as always, they are class.

Clock all over the place, can’t cover the whole court, no shot clock. There were problems again with the shotclock in the arena at some point, and the scoreboard had a power failure in the 1st. So that might have affected the youtube broadcast's ability to get it, depending how they do it.

Not the end of the world. Glasgow did really well without Fraser, and Pryor was terrific.
Eagles conspired to lose it, with too many open looks missed and some daft missed lay-ups. Rahmon should also have had shots for the win in the last seconds of regulation but the dopey refs missed the foul. Missed Morsell, and Rodney Glasgow, but a wonderful performance from Lasker.
Encouraging first outing from Sade Hussein. He can really rebound,
