Just the sort of comment we'd expect from a diehard Eagles fan .... why don't you wait until you've seen what sort of impact he has on Friday?
I, for one, am delighted he's going to be available for Friday night.
Welcome Zoran !

I'll be surprised if he gets any significant minutes on Friday as Rob tends to take his time integrating players into the rotation..... If it ain't broke why fix it.

Let's hope he is pretty fit at least. Often imports tend to take a while to literally get up to speed - e.g. Cartwright looks slimmer, fitter and even faster of late.

Is this the one we all knew they signed months ago, mercury did an article then nothing happened ? This did happen with a player called Jalen Lindsey, who the Leicester Mercury said we'd signed, but the club didn't confirm the signing. He then went on to sign somewhere else in Europe.
It has now happened once again with Zoran Talley Jr, but this time the club has officially announced the signing on their website, and he is supposedly arriving this week.

Not sure why some are sounding surprised by this given that the news broke weeks ago.
Don't know whether it's the 'statement signing' we so desperately need or not but it should help secure 5th place behind Eagles, Wolves, Rocks and Royals.

Not really sure what happened looking at the drop off in stats/minutes between his senior year and the year before but I think there's enough there to be excited enough about.
Plus he's a wing with a 7" wingspan. That can't be a bad thing in a Parernostro defensive system.

And now we've watched a video clip of him practising with the team and being interviewed so that's a good sign. He wasn't wearing a plastic boot and that is definitely a bonus.

Hearing Mo Walker will be out for months now due to the surgery on his hamstring. May not be back until 2020

Oh dear, that’s a real blow both for him and the Riders and, to be fair, for the BBL.
As Friday night demonstrated, with their current squad Leicester will be over-powered on the boards by those teams like Newcastle and Glasgow who have gone bigger this year.
Unless Leicester can find (and find the budget for) a New Brit or EU big man, then I wouldn’t be surprised if they cut Talley quickly and recruited a US big. They have been ruthless before and I would expect them to do whatever they need to win.

I seriously doubt Wright and Cartwright would be cut as they are both performing really well, especially the latter.

You would be bonkers to cut either Cartwright or Wright. Both look excellent to me.
Not sure about Scott yet although does play energetic defence.

Thanks, now not sure that some news is better than no news. Now the recovery period will depend on the type of repair.

I guess it really does depend on the extent of the repair. Some surgical hamstring repairs take 8 to 12 months before full fitness can be restored, others can be fixed after only 3 months. It also doesn’t help if the injury is not treated surgically at the earliest opportunity, because scar tissue will build up at the site of the tear, and this may impair a complete recovery. I don’t wish to seem too despondent, but I would be delighted, yet surprised, if we were to see him play.for us this season.

However, at least he's had the problem fixed surgically. Would the club have paid for that with insurance? Does that indicate we are going to retain him on contract till he recovers? Surely now Riders will have to look at signing someone else - can't see us faring well against Rocks or Royals with their bigs. So many questions...
