I guess it really does depend on the extent of the repair. Some surgical hamstring repairs take 8 to 12 months before full fitness can be restored, others can be fixed after only 3 months. It also doesn’t help if the injury is not treated surgically at the earliest opportunity, because scar tissue will build up at the site of the tear, and this may impair a complete recovery. I don’t wish to seem too despondent, but I would be delighted, yet surprised, if we were to see him play.for us this season. It's been a while since he incurred the injury so that's not encouraging. However, at least he's had the problem fixed surgically. Would the club have paid for that with insurance? Does that indicate we are going to retain him on contract till he recovers? Surely now Riders will have to look at signing someone else - can't see us faring well against Rocks or Royals with their bigs. So many questions... Your guess is as good as mine, as to who pays for this operation, and whether it would be covered by insurance.
At least the club management will know as to the likely extent of his rehabilitation, and it will be an informed expert opinion, upon which the club will come up with an appropriate course of action.
In Rob we trust.

Cant see insurance paying for it........surely their get-out will be that it is a pre-existing injury.

What’s the latest on Cartwright and JWH? Positive MRI scans, no surgery req’d, no timescale given yet on recovery schedule.
