I didnt see Wibbilywobbly comment on the links to Plymouth College, I didnt see him comment when we won, didnt see him comment with the new coach brought in to strengthen the coaching team. Starting to think hes just wants to talk negatively about the club? Seems like good news for the academy/uni in terms of getting Chinese kids going to those programmes, but not sure how much it will benefit the BBL team with the Non-EU rules the way they are?

Dont think this is done necessarily for the benefit of the bbl team, more so for the benefit of the programme.

And to be honest, not that the Pavillions needs it, they'll definitely benefit from an increased attendance if you start getting more Chinese basketball fanatics through the college gates. Plus they'll buy all your merch. Chinese kids love having all the gear....

Yeah weve had a few teams come and go from the local league but they never stay, all always have all the gear tho!

Interesting partnership, can’t really see any negatives so it’s at least worth giving a go what with how big basketball is in China right now.
One thing that did puzzle me was this – ‘the partnership with the Raiders will see the Falcons’ branding featuring at all Raiders’ home fixtures, which will allow their Academy and brand to continue to grow in Beijing and across Asia as a whole.’
How does having Beijing Falcons branding at Raiders’ home games promote the Academy in Beijing and across Asia? Are there a lot of people in China and Asian watching Plymouth home games?!
