And Josh Ward Hibbert badly injured today as well? Riders injury curse from last season shows no sign of letting up. Horrendous bad luck

Did I hear Mark Woods say today that Kyron Cartwright is out for the season as well? Torn ACL? What he actually said was "suspected ACL injury, could be out for the rest of the season", so currently it is just speculation.
"suspected MCL injury" having listened to it again. Generally not as bad as an ACL injury.

Theres far too many serious long term injuries at Leicester for it to just be bad luck now

Bad agents that the clubs trust maybe. Alot of them arrive with said injuries. Is your strength and conditioning coach really knowledgeable or are you using loughborough students. Are players using load management correctly. Theres many factors but it cant just be back luck, it's been too many years

Some fair points there, I just hope you’re wrong.

I also know Rob runs his players hard at practice. 100% a lot of the time. It has obvious benefits but it's risky.
*Edit - Clearly a lot of the problems were not as a result of this - Walker and a few others have been injured before they arrive.

Unless something is sorted pretty quickly I can see a fairly bleak season ahead. It was bad enough with Mo injured and no Talley. I remain to be convinced by him, btw. Now Cartwright and JWH carrying serious injuries things don't look rosy.

We still have no real idea about how serious Ky or Josh’s injuries are.

Was Talley bought in on a return ticket. He's not going to be around for long.

Yeah how serious are the injuries? An update would be nice.
I was hoping Cartwright wasn't as bad as first looked as he at least managed to hobble off (not that it means anything of course). Didn't see Ward Hibberts but both have been in great form so far so as a neutral I'd hope they are back fairly soon.

Was carried off by two teammates

Just hope its not too serious in that case.

Signing him always seemed an odd choice, given Walker's known injury. Surely we need someone to replace Walker's role? Much more sanguine about Scott now we've seen him hit 4 x three pointers in one game. Couldn't understand how he had such a prolonged dry spell prior to Sunday. However, I recall that Clyde Vaughan didn't set the world alight in his first season with us but in his second...

According to Rob Paternostro, they have received the MRI scans for Cartwright and Ward-Hibbert and they both looked positive.
From this I can only assume that it is a "rest & recuperation" scenario rather than a "season ending" scenario.

I suppose that's good... although it does mean they'll have to survive a while without them - as opposed to getting some replacements in almost immediately. Riders are lucky we're only playing for the Cup right now, so surviving without some of their big names won't impact their League chances as it would have this time last year.

Assuming IRFs statements earlier this season claiming we were saving an import to see how things go, I would've thought Talley is on short term. If that's not true he could've been spewing his usual "PR for Riders" BS. Completely guessing though.

At the time of IRFs statement I don't think we had signed Talley therefore we did have one import and one Euro slot. At the moment we only have one Euro slot available.
