My prediction If Riders win - " it was one a heckava game with a lot of Positives to build on "  If Riders lose - " Rocks didn't win that game, we lost the game "  Oh No No No No !!  edit That meme from last season still makes me giggle to this day (best one in 18/19 season) |

Im thinking of going to this. Off court issues aside i really like the make up of this team. The one weak spot seems tk be rinkounas and he was the best percentage shooter in the league last season or something so hopefully he finds his rhythm.
Riders potentially short handed means nothing. All it takes is one guy to get hot and he scores 30

Take 2 players out of a teams starting 5 means nothing?
I imagine the Riders will struggle for scoring without JWH and without the creativity of Cartwright.

Short-handed teams can be a danger. The remaining guys perform know they will play close to 40 mins and perform at their top level. Wounded animal is at its most dangerous, etc. And if Rocks turn up with the wrong attitude, a shock is possible.

Of course that's a possibility, its sport. However its odds against, and to say having some of your better players missing means nothing is daft. Rocks by double figures in this game.

Unusual position where riders fans openly saying rocks win/protecting themselves. Id like to say whoever suits up we throw the kitchen cink at them. If we get our defence right (hasn't been past 2 games) we have a good chance. Riders wont be abe to press full 40 if they are minus 2 from their rotation which will suit us. Ahould be a good game

Leicester very inpressive. Game plan on point. New guy has some decent moves. Defensively i thought a bit slow buthe done enough on us tonight.
Chuku very impressive both inside and out.
Refs ruined the game early doors however rocks were worse. I think we need to use our last import slot. We need a scorer at the 2/3 slot

Best team won. Riders had far greater intensity throughout, and excellent defence. Rocks had too many players below par, only 2 scored in double figures (and one of them only just - 10). Prior injured early in 3rd quarter too, not a good day.
Agree with comments about refs, and one in particular. Called lots at one end of the court and none at the other.
When is a ref going to have the balls to T-up the Riders bench for repeatedly having two coaches simultaneously on their feet passing instructions when game in progress?
