He will probably keep working out. I dont see him playing now. His one year fame will be too valuable. Absolutely the guy has got every right to lap it all up as financially if he is clever it will be great for him.

Iistening to the podcast I was interested in the views on player budgets.
There seems to be an assumption that because Eagles and Riders have or partially have their own venues that they have far higher playing budgets than the rest of the league.
The benefits are obvious but I wonder what the cost of the loans are and how much goes to repaying those
An eagles representative said some time ago that the crowd wasn’t a complete over riding factor on club finances.
Although attendances arn’t great at EPSV I suspect we must be doing well commercially to sign Latonovic and Hayes so early in the summer and to pick up Ben Mockford.

I'm pretty sure neither clubs have loans to pay for the venues, they were both done on what they could afford.
This is the biggest issue we will face in the bbl when the gap just gets too big. Itll make the bbl not only incredibly hard to win if you dont have your own arena and the extra finances that allows but itll stop new clubs joining. You could argue a strong national league would actually only improve the bbl tho

I've still got the impression it will happen this season but no idea when that's likely to happen. His Instagram last week gave me hope it was soon, now I'm rather of the opinion if it does happen it's more likely at the start of the league season, certainly the earliest he's likely to play is the 20th November v Bristol but if it's going to happen I think it's more likely to be 8th December v Rocks.
Lions will want at least a week for promotion and sales.
