I've just seen the time for the tip, why's it so early? Is anyone actually going to show up at 5pm on a Friday?

It’s being played at the UEL SportDock, not the Copper Box, and I’m guessing that’s the only time available. A 5pm tip-off is not only difficult to get to, but difficult to get home to watch (assuming it’ll still be streamed). The game was originally scheduled for the Copper Box and 7:30pm, and still is in some places, which makes me think this is a last minute venue change, but others on here have said this was the plan all along.

This being a 5pm tip-off is very poor. It is bad enough for Lions' fans, but I was planning on travelling down from Worcester for this game and we have tickets - I am beginning to have a change of mind. Not impressed, especially as Lions entertained Raiders at the Copper Box on the original date for this fixture. Surely the BBL should introduce a rule regarding scheduled times to enable supporters to at least have a chance of making tip-off.

Sadly the supporters will have been the last consideration mate

Also doord only at 4.30. They aren't expecting many fans.

Sadly the supporters will have been the last consideration mate I'm not sure that's fair. Vince wants money from sales of tickets, it's what keeps the club going. He will certainly not have wanted to play a game at 5 on a Friday evening but he clearly hasn't had a choice in the matter. Supporters will always be a major consideration, unfortunately on this occasion we've been let down, but due to the way the Cup has been formatted this season, the game can't be re-scheduled later in the season, it has to be completed very soon. I think we've still got a game to schedule against Scorchers, who knows when, where, or what time that will be.

That has to be the case. I expect the alternative was playing it entirely behind doors or forfeiting, in which case fans of both clubs would still miss out. Or I guess switching it to Worcester?

Switching to Worcester wouldn't have been an option for today either, as the university has been holding holding its graduation ceremonies at the arena all week, including today - I doubt it would have been ready in time for a 7.30 pm tip-off. This further highlights the problem with rearranging fixtures at short notice, although I am still puzzled as to why the Lions were allowed to postpone the original Raiders fixture - ultimately, that is what has lead to this mess.

Whatever that means. It would have been their first home game of the season, and there was a rumour the Copper Box wouldn’t allow them the venue until they paid outstanding fees from last season. No idea whether there’s any truth to that. And because it was all so last minute the UEL SportDock wasn’t available either. The mess isn’t quite over yet either… Lions still have a home fixture against Scorchers that needs to be scheduled for a date within the next 2 weeks.

I se the University gave Vince 100 lines for being late arranging this game, and he's put all 100 of them out on the court. Are there any colours not used in the lines there? However in fairness it is a nice clear picture and got stats on the screen, just hit the mute button.

Please NOOOOO ... not Rick Gabriel ... where's the mute button. Who is he....he was pure comedy gold tonight (as a neutral), Coffee Josephs, Coffee Allen, Jordan Josephs....anything but the right players names!

Match about to begin on YouTube: Hmm, video has been taken off. I wanted to watch that late Wolves possession again from which they scored and put the game beyond reach. From the stand (on the opposite side), it looked like Allen-Jordan deflected the ball out of bounds when Wolves had 6 seconds left on the shot clock. From the inbound, they were given a fresh 14. Shouldn't it have stayed at 6 seconds, unless there was a change of possession? Actually, looking at the play-by-play, the timings are all wrong but if I'm looking at the right play, a foul was accredited, not a deflection. I'll hold my hands up if that's the case but I didn't see the foul called at the time.

Booknic,Bodgenick, Bookneck, Raheem May Johnson, Coffee Allen, Jordan Allen, banchinick.... Top drawer entertainment. I suspect it's offline as 5:00pm in a sports hall isn't exactly a great look for the league.

Yeah, looks like the BBL have deleted the game from their YouTube channel... glad I left work early to get home and watch it live. To be honest it really wasn’t a good advert for the league, not the game itself, but the coverage - from the commentary to the ridiculous number of lines on the floor. It looked like a division 3 game being played at a local leisure centre. I’m guessing that’s why the BBL have deleted it.
