This will be interesting to see how our bigs match up against Rocks' inside players. Feeling more confident that that won't be such an issue with Chuku and Nelson-Henry now playing well. Not all on Thomson's shoulders. What'd be great would be if JWH was able to take the court again too. Anyone any idea how long he'll be out with his injury?

Rocks have proved a handful for Riders at times - I am pretty confident we'll be okay tonight IF everyone is fit. Nelson-Henry benefits from Cartwright's passing and he'll definitely be better schooled in our defence techniques. The only question mark is whether we can hit threes with any consistency. For some reason we just go walkabout sometimes in that respect but in others it's not a problem - doesn't depend too much on the opponents' defence either. We have wide open looks yet still miss time after time.

Wide open shots missed seems to be a bbl thing.
Rocks haven't been good since beating newcastle. We somehow have the leagues 3rd highest scorer who last time out sat due to fouls hopwfully he is smarter and greg pryor has recovered from his niggles as he was flying at the start. Ebala needs to stay tough. Im still not sure what role pepper plays. He is putting up some decent figures Im just not sure if his role is now having a negative effect on tadas and malcolms court time and efficiencies

Masterclass so far from Cartwright. Best he's played. Rocks kept to 33 at half time.

Rocks have been very poor
Lavandier is still looking like OGS at Man Utd, out of his depth

Coach must be going insane. I hope he is knocking at smillies door asking dor the cheque book. Get rid of who you can foe the league season. Ebala turns up when in the starting line up. Tadas now a passenger. Our shooting from 3 is horrendous. We've made leicester a traditionally defence focused team look offensively amazing. Out the cup, now is the time to make the changes and get them in pre league starting. Id cut tadas and eli and get 3 guys in.

We looked good in offence when Cartwright was PG. Different level when he's on court. Without Wright and JWH tonight. The former's good for 15 points usually. Best we've played. Defence was awesome tonight.

Think my favourite moment was Lavandier's timeout called after 75 seconds. Rocks were worse after that!

Our only highlight was closing the gap to something like 4 or 6 points with minutes to go in the 1st. It then nosedived. Twice this season we've made anderson look like an offensive threat...
Whats happened? I honestly believe the squad hws some passenger's, I honestly thought the resigning eventually of Rinkounas was the final piece to the puzzlw regardless of our 3rd import. He isn't anywhere the player he was on offence or defence.

looking at the stats, got a question. was it truly fantastic discipline d from Riders or was there no drive and aggression from rocks? I ask as stats show rocks were 1 from 2 from the charity stripe in 40min and riders only 7 fouls in 4 periods of basketball. also were they truly so poor that zero points on fast break is correct? then the stats have 40 of 58pts from rocks were inside the paint.

Plenty of aggression from Rocks. Can't fault their will to win. They just couldn't deal with our defence. Watch it back on YouTube and I think you'll agree.

I disagree. A tone of open shots. Missed drive to the basket. I do question the rocks aggression the change from the eagles game in Newcastle is night and day.

Dominating performance from Riders, especially being short handed, I fear for Rocks fans this season unless big changes come in. Just wanted to say a massive thanks for the military personnel for their appearance before the start of the game and also to Riders fan Ian Firth for his Last post tribute which he does extremely well every season.

The most disappointing performance for Rocks was that from Murray - huge falling off from the player he was once.

The most disappointing performance for Rocks was that from Murray - huge falling off from the player he was once. I fear he is now trying to do a role he isn't able to do. He should be coming off the bench. He is still a top bbl player and aggressive defender on his day. You dont get trusted to guard rudy fernandez if you're any mug. Players like murray and fraser aren't the issue itd the support cast around them. Imho id cut pepper. I cant work out his role on the team. Is he an inside guy or outside. Im yet to see him dominate on defence other than the odd volleyball spike into the crowd. Plus we seen what Ebala can do. That performance imo is the best by a player in the bbl for years
