I'm hearing on the grapevine that Eli Pepper and Earl Russell have left the team. No reasons as yet.

Oh I'm just making plays/puns on Pepper (salty) and rustling (Russell) feathers, I've for no idea.

Pepper has seemingly retired, as for Russell it just looks a release

I cannot believe other teams are not changing some of their poor performing US imports. How bad do they have to be before they move them on?....

I think Pepper retired before the game against Riders recently. Made little impact.

And now we have two American slots open.. I hope they get a couple of crackers. I take it there will be plenty to choose from now the NBA has started and players/agents will be desperate...

You would hope so. A legit scorer and a big inside out guy. Not asking much!!

One of my all time favourites.

Its a shame to see the Rocks franchise in such a mess. We had the basis for having a great franchise when we binned Sterling. But from the way that was handled its been going from one disaster to another on and off the court.

Always a difficult watch I think but captivating Yeah it is. It's basically juxtaposed with the demise of the city under Thatchers government and the desperation people went to, Jimmy McGovern at his finest.

Coach recruited early. Lots of positives and negatives to it. Does it rule out players who may get better deals and we settle for lesser able players knowing bbl is their ceiling? I don't buy we weren't able to do the visa for Payne and suspect the player also had some issues with his application and rocks decided not to wait any longer.
Will duncan be on the phone to the reids asking for help or out with the begging bowl to the old gm. Time to get the rocks back to what we stood for and respected for.

Be interesting to see if this is reflected in the odds for Sunday’s game vs Phoenix ? Surely the handicap will have Nix -9 or greater especially when Rocks have nothing to play for (this is not a tip!)

On the other hand if Eagles win on Friday night as expected, they will be fourth and Nix will have nothing to play for either. I wonder if the way Rocks approach their other dead game on Friday against Sharks will give us a clue.

You think you’re going to get players who just missed out on this NBA season!?! More likely those who have been cut very early in the season from various European teams.
