Banana skin. Egg on face?
Surely that's all we're looking at here?
Rocks trimmed down to the minimum. No Pepper who shot the lights out at Ponds Forge.
Rocks still have some good players in their roster and will be playing with pride and determination.
Got to be careful we turn up with the right attitude.

The Rocks are in meltdown just now. Players leaving left, right and centre. The coach has released a statement saying things are bad and that the team needs the fans onside. There is no way they are winning this one. Should be a nice easy away win for Sheffield.

One thing worries me about this game or should I say a combination of 3.
Rocks short bench Fraser Ref
In the game at Ponds Forge Fraser fouled out. I think he had 3 fouls in 3 minutes.
He is a dangerous weapon for the rocks and can do a lot of damage.
I cant see him fouling out at home due to how the refs will call things. I think they'll let the players get on with things and it'll be a physical game. Which will be to Fraser's benefit. Don't think the refs will let the rocks get into foul trouble at home with a short bench, otherwise they could end up with 4 on court ;-)
Could trouble sharks but potentially we should have enough in our lockers.

You've clearly never watched a rocks home game... refs this season have called everything. Ali attracts fouls. He isn't the cleverest of players to avoid being called.
It'll be interesting to see if it's the local refs or if sharks have brought their guys up for the game to split the travel costs 🤔😉

It'll be interesting to see if it's the local refs or if sharks have brought their guys up for the game to split the travel costs 🤔😉 If they've been calling every thing, that's fair enough, all we want is consistency. Just got an incling that they'll let alot go tonight. Happy with that if they are consistent in the game and at both ends. Even if it's done fairly and at both ends, I think the physicality and non calls will help Fraser out. Although I cant recall watching any rocks games this season. I have watched more than usual with the benefit of YouTube and I think there might be something in what's been said in the past; refs appear to let alot more go further south, whereas up north, and I count Sheffield here, refs call for a lot more. This adds to confusion and frustration for teams and fans alike as when a player would normally expect to 'get away' with one thing on one court but is pulled up for the same thing elsewhere. Don't get me started on make up calls and balancing out foul counts...

Although that big boy Maxime often seems surprised somebody has passed him the ball.
He needs to get switched on all the time.

Not seen the game in full (yet and undecided to bother or not) but that score line is arriffic.
I'm out at the pub and only caught a couple of minutes on youtube and the odd tweet. Very undecided whether to watch the game back. Will it prove my worse thoughts, will it show how rocks deserved the win or will it completely p me off.
Going on the score line alone, the fact that we've had 2 foul out, it leaves me with questions. What did I say about the result depending on how the refs called the game?
One way to stop the inform Lewis? Simply foul him out.
Apologies if I've got it wrong, but at the moment my pre game 'worries' seem to have come to light.
I'll leave it with one simple question. How can one team doing so badly beat a team doing so well by so much?
I'll not say any more until I watch the game, if I have the courage.

I'll leave it with one simple question. How can one team doing so badly beat a team doing so well by so much? It's that old "wounded animal is at its most dangerous" syndrome. Rocks have taken huge criticism, and needed and wanted this win more than Sharks. Prior and Murray were outstanding, and the rest played their parts very well. For Sharks, McKnight and Lewis were excellent, but the others didn't offer enough support. Not convinced that Koch and Cashaw are quite as good as some posters have said recently.

Cant add too much as I said I've also seen spinnets. I've already said I'd leave comments until I've seen the whole game back But Lewis and Koch fouled out? Honestly??? It's clear to me that Koch cant play 'that well' if hes in foul trouble. And what's a better a better way to stop a player from doing well than to get him fouled out, I thinking of Lewis here. I may be wrong and he deserved to be fouled out. From the little that I have seen, e.g. the foul against him on the 3 pointer in the 2nd q looked very harsh. As I said, seen very little so at the moment happy to be corrected. Of course I'm disappointed at the result but I cant say that I'm surprised.

Rocks drove inside alot. Pryor was doing what he was doing early on in the season going at the other teams big. Off the dribble he was great tonight.
Struggle to see where a 20 point defeat automatically means refs were crap/ one sided. See it more as lavandier out game planned lyons on this occasion.
A win which for now doesn't mean a grest deal in terms of placings but a confidence boost against a side playing off confidence. Finally i now see why some sharks fans moan about backovic.... he comes on during second half and first involvement is a technical/unsportsmanlike on ebala when he is going for a dunk. Really dangerous play lucky ebala landed okay. (Ebala did miss both shots)

Sharks defending was absolutely appalling.
Koch did not play well and seems to be failing off rapidly now teams have figured out how to defend him.
Cashaw is way too inconsistent at this stage. He needs to be able to contribute 12 to 15 a night. Going from 20 to 4 to 16 to 2 is not helping us.
Bouna played well and looks good so that’s a positive.
Still need a scorer off the bench. A three point threat would be nice. We have really streaky shooters and just need someone that makes a living outside the arc.

Sharks throw the game so they don't have the possibility of playing Lions in the quarter finals!!?

What can you say, really? Did anyone see that coming - or even anything close to that? Crazy world, this BBL.
