Embarrassing and frustrating. I think Hyland needs to go just not good enough for a import.

Strange that Ryan Richards only played a few seconds last night, is he saving himself for Sunday Considering his profile (drafted in the NBA etc.) I was expecting more from him today. Maybe it’ll just take a while for him to settle in. Anyone else feel the same?

Ryan created tough matchups and drew the double team on a number of occasions.. 12 boards and two blocks, 4 assists. Albeit he should be putting up atleast 15/20ppg. I don’t think he is still fully fit. Hopefully scorchers can hang to him for a few more games but I heard it was a signing to help through the rest of the cup games.

Tayo is absolutely on-fire this season. 31 points 6 Reb and 4 Ass today. Huge performance.
Richards was disappointing on offense but pulled down 12 boards. This was the first time this season (I think) that we have out rebounded anyone and I think a lot of that was down to his presence.
Looking forward to the show down with the Lions now. Still too early to write us off eh ?!?

Do Johnson & Hyland need to go?

Ryan still not fully fit so we might be able to keep him a bit longer, even if it's just for bench minutes. Joel Freeland in crowd again so maybe he can be coaxed out of retirement to replace Ryan when he does leave. As for game great performance from team especially Tayo not only above stats but also no fouls called against him. Well done scorchers repeat performance next week please.

I'm conflicted about Johnson as he is a difference makes on defence BUT there simply isn't enough shooting or offensive production when you compare to some imports without jobs!!

But I’m looking forward to it, booking my tickets tomorrow.

What imports are you thinking without jobs ?! Think the new lad on trial needs to be tied down aswell to be honest

Yes Johnson had 2 points but he only took 1 shot. Currently averaging 14 and 7 in 27 mins I like him, think hes solid for us.
New guys shouldve been offered his contract 10 minutes into the royals game!

“Imports you are thinking about” Are you serious, there Thousands of experienced US imports who are sitting at home on there bums waiting for a call. Surley it has to be money.
