So, we've seen the teams battle out their games H and A in the mini leagues - are we any nearer to knowing who are the likely winners? I'd say we are - for me, it's between Royals, Riders and Sharks.

True, with this system and possible 2 leg semi final you could have played the same team 4 times before the middle of December. Two league games to follow plus trophy plus play off could reach 7 or 8 ?

What makes you think we need Ovie?? A record of 3-5 for a start.... Means nothing when it gets to the next the next round, due to the format, we can play **** for 5 games & it doesn't matter at all!

On form from group stage Sharks. On ability to win while not playing particularly well Riders.

Ovie, Peel and Justin. In BBL terms that’s pretty impressive. Havnt seem much if lions this year but an ok supporting cast as well. Nobody really impressing af this point tbh. Royals are better coached but still have OJ and Dusha playing 39 minutes and they’ve never been stand out for me. In the north eagles are inconsistent, Riders will get better, Nix have an overload of shooters’live by the 3 , due by the 3’ Sharks fans say they’re a better team than last year and it looks as though Lewis has metamorphosed into a decent player. Lions have the class for me and J really don’t understand why people think the north is stronger than the south

Ovie, Peel and Justin. In BBL terms that’s pretty impressive. Don't get me wrong, I'm very excited about this line up... the two best British players in the league and the best American in the league (in my opinion), could be a killer combination. But the question is 'Who are the favourites for the Cup?', and Ovie won't be with Lions until the semi-final stage at the earliest. That means Lions have to secure 4th place on Saturday and then beat Riders in the quarter final before we see that exciting Soko/Robinson/Peel line up. I'm not saying Robinson and Peel aren't capable of doing this on their own, but it's not going to be easy.

Robinson & Peel are super consistent and I think we can bank on Soko scoring highly and being a beast in the paint. B***er!

Here we are 2/3 through November & it’s virtually a blank weekend of fixtures?

Here we are 2/3 through November & it’s virtually a blank weekend of fixtures? I thought you were going to say "Here we are 2/3 through November and we're making the league a one horse race already !" I'm not convinced 3 superstars are all Vince needs to win the league, but they are certainly going to be the favourites.
