Don't think Ryan has changed the team that much we got the win against wolves with him only playing 2.5 seconds, yes Joel freeland has been training with the squad

I said this somewhere else previously, but I was expecting a lot more from Ryan Richards... he was picked in the NBA draft, something Ovie Soko, Justin Robinson and Andrew Lawrence can’t claim.
Yes, I know he never played a regular season game, but still, with a claim like that he should be one of the top 3 British players in the league, and he’s not.
Having said that, Surrey in general are looking impressive. And I now feel like they’re a considerable threat to Lions chances of getting beyond the group stage of the Cup.

Perhaps a certain poster on here who wrote them off has provided extra motivation? 🤷♂️🤣👆

Ryan richards seems to be that guy who has all the talent at school but doesn't use it properly. He has probably had s pretty pay day or teo playing in the middle east but lets be honest a former nba draft pick should be in the euro competitions. Grest presence on his day but you've got to wonder what could have been.
Joel suiting up in the bbl is something i never would expect to see. Semi retired almost at his peak. Loved in portland. Battered Luke Babbit (sorry if wrong player). Grest to see him on court in surrey if it happens. A legit nba performer and GB legend.

Enjoyed this very much as usual and thanks for the in-depth coverage of the Scorchers.
I actually don't think much has changed at the Scorchers although Creon did make some quite radical changes to the starting 5 which seem to have stabilised the first few minutes. Mainly I think it was just a case of the luck of the dice coming down our way this weekend whearas in earlier weeks it did not. Ryan obviously made no difference in his 1.5 seconds against Wolves but he did help shore up or rebounding against the Raiders which has been the main issue all season.
