It’s our first star-studded line-up since the international break, but some things never change as a certain someone makes it a staggering seventh successive appearance.
Cat Carr – Sevenoaks Suns The class and experience of the versatile Carr was on show as Sevenoaks preserved their perfect start to the season by easing past Cardiff. She was instrumental in the road victory by adding an all-action line of 22 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
Mante Kvederaviciute – Newcastle Eagles The Lithuanian ace was so good this past weekend, she actually posted a pair of performances that were good enough to make our starting five. Having shone against Mystics 24 hours earlier, she was brilliant again in the home win against Hatters with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
Sara Djassi – Manchester Mystics Losing on their home floor against Eagles on Saturday, Mystics needed a response and Djassi provided it to propel her team to a Sunday win on their travels. She was too hot to handle for Durham Palatinates and produced 23 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
Georgia Ohrdorf – Newcastle Eagles The first part of the Eagles’ excellent weekend win double was founded on her superb outing in Manchester. Ohrdorf was on fire and racked up a terrific 25 points from a jaw-dropping 78% shooting effort, also completing a double-double with 12 rebounds.
Jasmine Joyner – Nottingham Wildcats The amazing ever present run for Joyner continues as she appears for the seventh straight week after inspiring Wildcats to a hard fought success against Essex. She took down the Rebels with a massive 25 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks to also land our Player of the Week gong!
Off the bench – Anneke Schluter (Oaklands Wolves), Ella Clark (Leicester Riders), Chantelle Pressley (Peterman FLT Sheffield Hatters), Jessy Ward (Essex Rebels), Judit Fritz (Sevenoaks Suns), Abby Rendle (Essex Rebels), Nicole Fong Lyew Quee (Durham Palatinates).
