I hope not! I watched him playing for Rotterdam several times last season and he was poor
I also watched him several times over the past few years in Rotterdam and would disagree.
My opinion is that he improved his game in almost all departments. His improvement on the defensive end was particularly noticeable- I saw him guard 3 positions in a game multiple times, whilst also posting efficient numbers on offence. He seemed to recognise that when his shot wasn’t falling in the Netherlands he had to influence the game in other ways, which wasn’t always the case in his time in the BBL. He seemed to grow into a leadership role in Rotterdam.
By all accounts in the Netherlands, he was extremely well liked on and off the floor. He did extensive work in the community and gained a lot of accolades from local schools and the fans speak very highly of him. He also left Rotterdam off his own back to pursue an opportunity back in the USA- the team was very keen to tie him down to a longer-term deal.
Setty aside, the Raiders will surely improve now that they’ve addressed some issues in their roster. The recruitment from them (and by extension a lot of teams in the BBL this season in particular) has been questionable.
Talent was never the issue with setty it was attitude i saw him regularly sink 80% of his 3 pointers from the half way line, he came at a time when the raiders were a mess, we had so much talent over the years but wasted it
