Agree with this decision. He needed to go just wasn’t good enough for an import.

Neither of those 2 were consistent scorers, both volume shooters. Not against setty return

Simple all you do with hassan is double him inside and there's no reliable kick out option so just some one who will keep the defence honest could I say ojo or is that greedy?

This guy certainly looks like a decent pickup. Really good shooting stats from 3 point range, 2 point range and free throws, decent rebounding and assist stats, and a very good recommendation from Billy Mims ( what more do you need? ).

Release a guard and sign a forward probably means Ron has signed long term or we would be very light on the guard front. Being weve signed a guard and forward and only released a guard I do wonder if we plan on releasing an underperforming European

So, he is from a Div2 College. Played in Brazil last season and then played one game in Luxembourg this season. Scored 28 point in that one game and was on his way to Raiders. Whmmmmmmm. What do you have to do you have to do to get a contract Luxembourg?

I’m also very happy with this and the team is now looking stronger. Lets hope the guys don’t disappoint us Friday and especially at home on Sunday. 💪🏽

I hope not! I watched him playing for Rotterdam several times last season and he was poor I also watched him several times over the past few years in Rotterdam and would disagree. My opinion is that he improved his game in almost all departments. His improvement on the defensive end was particularly noticeable- I saw him guard 3 positions in a game multiple times, whilst also posting efficient numbers on offence. He seemed to recognise that when his shot wasn’t falling in the Netherlands he had to influence the game in other ways, which wasn’t always the case in his time in the BBL. He seemed to grow into a leadership role in Rotterdam. By all accounts in the Netherlands, he was extremely well liked on and off the floor. He did extensive work in the community and gained a lot of accolades from local schools and the fans speak very highly of him. He also left Rotterdam off his own back to pursue an opportunity back in the USA- the team was very keen to tie him down to a longer-term deal. Setty aside, the Raiders will surely improve now that they’ve addressed some issues in their roster. The recruitment from them (and by extension a lot of teams in the BBL this season in particular) has been questionable.
