I remember Alan Bannister who use to get a lot of stick. As I say moving on , how do they find another UK Centre? I don't know if he's available and I know he's got history with Plymouth but Shane Walker could be a decent UK centre for most clubs in BBL |

Zak Wells isn't doing anything.... But seriously, PJ will have a scouting network and if he's anything like people I've played under before - he'll have lists of every British player not only to be in college (and at what stage), but those outside and playing both in the NBL and abroad, and even guys who've fell off the radar after college. Christ, if he's that stuck Dave Owen has an entire database. He (Zak Wells) has turned up at a couple of Riders home games this season.... |

Alan Bannister - that’s a blast from the past. I remember him lumbering around Newcastle Arena for the short lived Comets to no great effect.

If size meant everything the our ex player Paul Sturgess should have been a world beater!! Fair enough though he didn't have a particularly soft touch but he still left the Nix twice the player he was when he arrived.
