If they weren’t all out on the piss watching the boxing last night I think we will win this.

Well if Eagles are going to be challenging this season, they need to keep Wilcher out and win this. Don’t forget who spoilt the party at the ECA opening night !

Theo Turner tries hard, he really does but hes clueless at how to play defense at this level

The first half was so boring I could’ve fallen asleep. Second was better but still so much more work needed. Theo needs to go he’s not good enough for the BBL.

I think Eagles are more than capable of losing this game They did their best to lose it in the final quarter but thankfully weren't bad enough

That was ridiculous in Q4 - don't see how Eagles contrived to let Raiders back in when they were 24 up at one stage. Luckily, Plymouth made lots of poor choices in the final 3 minutes and Eagles kept their heads to coolly see it out. Bit of a scare for them though. Gettys proving his worth again.

They got some momentum going, eagles got very sloppy, still not an easy road trip so will happily take a W from the longest trek of the season

I think Eagles are more than capable of losing this game Ah well wrong again They gave it a good shot. I didn't factor in how poor Raiders might be themselves.

The raiders are good were just lacking in key areas mainly on defence just give up too many open shots and on offence there just isn't enough shooting!! Hopefully the two new boys address this as actually the ingredients are there for a good team
We have the top inside scorer in the league bar none (obviously not great on the other end) and the second best but could argue the best British point guard!!

Saw the score and wondered how many overtime periods it took to reach that result. Looked at the stats, between the two teams they managed 156 shots in that 40 minutes, that's almost 4 shots a minute!!! Did they play a new rule, shot clock set to 15 seconds or was it a real run 'n' gun game, I knew CJ had slimmed down a lot but that's an amazing stat. Considered and planned offences?? Did neither coaching team plan any plays this week??

More like poor defending on both sides

I can't believe the Eagles nearly threw away a 20 point lead in the 4th. I could see it coming too. I think we have a handy team now (especially if Rodney ever actually plays) but we've got to close games out.

Really feel sorry for Turner. Wanted him to do well, but he is lost. Surely there must be other Brit centres available. Elliot De Freitus is one, Gutliep is another. Any others?

Hate to say I told you so (I don't, I really don't).
Wells wasn't all that bad now by comparison, was he?

I remember Alan Bannister who use to get a lot of stick. As I say moving on , how do they find another UK Centre?

Zak Wells isn't doing anything....
But seriously, PJ will have a scouting network and if he's anything like people I've played under before - he'll have lists of every British player not only to be in college (and at what stage), but those outside and playing both in the NBL and abroad, and even guys who've fell off the radar after college.
Christ, if he's that stuck Dave Owen has an entire database.

They gave it a good shot. I didn't factor in how poor Raiders might be themselves. They were not poor 2nd half but eagles coasted a bit 2 much
