Giants put out a lot of publicity about this game encouraging people to get their tickets early in order to see Ovie. There was some discussion about wether or not he would be making an appearance, tonight could go some way to prove/ disprove how much time Ovie is able to commit to basketball.

If there are games he's going to miss, it's more likely to be away games with longer journeys.
If Allen-Jorden hadn't been cut, Vince may also have felt he could do without him but I doubt that is the case now.
Whether he plays today or not will not determine if he's committed to Lions or not, or how many future games he's going to play. I'm encouraged that he seems to be at the training sessions & they would be easier things for him to miss

Livestats indicate Soko played 8 minutes in Q1, wonder what he makes of the GHC centre... Soko played 22 mins, and scored 16 points. Good to see him at an away game (and one that isn’t that local), I doubt he’ll play all of them but at least it appears he’s not here for just the home games. |
