Well, I'm interested if no one else is. Stuttering start to Nix's league season winning unconvincingly at Giants. Losing Cilo for a time with his earlier foot injury and still not seeing Moulion on court has meant playing with a short bench, but we always do!!! Having big Michael reunited with his glasses will certainly help and having Sayers start hitting 3's again will keep the score moving . Hard to comment about Riders but Anderson seems to regained his scoring ability and it looks like they are beginning to find their team ethos again. Looking at their stats can't seem to work out who their outside shooters are, Thompson excepted.

Namon Wright mainly. And Joe Scott if he gets many minutes. But Anderson, Chuku and Cartwright can all hit threes.

Another great performance from PJC, his 2 steals in OT secured the win.

Terrible twins won that for Nix. Mockford and Jackson-Cartwright are formidable alright.

Namon Wright mainly. And Joe Scott if he gets many minutes. But Anderson, Chuku and Cartwright can all hit threes. But not enough tonight. Great win, it's not often we beat Riders, even fewer times when it gets close in normal time and hardly ever in OT. Great team performance led by PJC and Mockford but valuable support from all the squad. Great to have big Mike back in the middle shoring up all the defence.

Not seen the game
But we have to be winning games like this if we are going to win the league title back
Disappointing result. No matter how well Nix played or not.

So, at the end of the weekend Nix played 2 won 2 .............top of the leagueπππππππ β¦ along with Lions. But yeah, both are the only teams to have played 2 and won 2. Royals, Eagles and Sharks join them with a 100% winning record, but have only played 1 game. Still early days though.

Riders look worryingly uncreative without Cartwright - god knows what happens if he gets injured.
23 assists last night as a team - 17 of them came from him.
PJC and Mockford could well be the most exciting back court in the league this season as well when they're on the kind of form they were last night.

Bigz Isnt that the case with all the best point guards at all teams? Eagles without Fletch, Lions without Robinson - God knows what happens to them as well when they are injured? One big difference with Riders is we are proven at winning leagues several times now without great point guards in the squad full stop Number one I'm hoping he doesn't get injured of course. But our fallback is that we will win more games without our PG than the others will IMO We've won better leagues than this season with Douse and Lascelles running the show ps the rumour is we may have some more creativity on its way in as well!

In the past you've had Hampton who can create (and was one of the main creators as one of the best passing bigs in the league if not the best) at forward, Holder who wasn't the worst passer in the world, other guys who can chip in with 5/6 assists. Thomson was the second top assist maker last night with 3.
The make up of this team is far too reliant on one guy directing traffic.
