Looking forward to this one. Looking forward to seeing how Flyers cope with Ovie. Hope we can get the away win, would give us a lot of confidence ahead of second leg v Royals on Saturday.

Lions play poorly for three quarters of the game and allow Flyers to dictate the game, then come alive in the 4th, thanks mainly to Andre Lockhart's tenacity & solid play at both ends of the court, closing the last quarter out 31-11!!!
Plenty of work to do for Lions & we could do with another 3 point threat. Jordan Whelan had an excellent game.

Excellent performance under pressure from Lions in the 4th, and great to get another win and maintain the 100% record. But improvements need to be made, we can’t allow teams to dominate like that for the majority of the game if we want a chance at retaining the Championship title. After being a little cynical I’m starting to see the value in Soko. Whilst I’m still not totally convinced he’s that much of a better player than Robinson and Peel, having him in the team is certainly doing us a lot of good. I agree about Whelan, certainly a good contributor.

Lockhart leading a side to victory is a bit of an indictment on the bbl

Thought they looked good yesterday evening on the whole.
But harsh on Lockhart who had a decent enough game but see your point given his age and ability etc.
A better example would have been Old Joe Ikihnwin- he was never the fittest or fastest when I played with him many many moons ago in the BA days but he looked heavy and blowing out of his substantial *** last night and all season.
Next to be cut almost certainly.cant keep playing like that for sentimentality reasons. .
They now have a sponsor in ASOS who are effectively now paying Ovie’s wages - as part of his partnership with them. That allows some breathing space for them financially.
Lots of issues around still- BBL having to bail them out to pay officials wages after Keith Williams er al threatened court action.
Allen-Jordon walked out having not being paid since the season started rather than having been cut.
Better from Copper Box who have given a few games grace pending payments as they capitalise on the Ovie PR effect.
Possibly delaying the inevitable move to East London Uni.
They will walk this league though with Just and Peel shooting the lights out consistently

But he's just been made a starter 🤷🏻♂️ Robinson, Peel and Soko had 15 points between them at half time, down 7. They finished the game with 52 points between them, up 11. There's the story of the game.

Why did Lions single him out for not being paid? Or are you saying no-one's been paid?
