Five weeks on Friday since the last home game, it’s been ridiculous and don’t think any team should have that much time between home games.
It’s almost felt like the off season.
Will be good to see CJ Gettys for the first time, mad how he’s been here for what seems like ages and we still haven’t seen him play at home.
December 18th and we still haven’t seen a league game this season at the ECA, format has to change next season for me.
To the game, should be a comfortable win for us, should never take anything for granted though but as long as we play our game we should get the W.

They left the weeks free for the bbl cup games if we progressed. Unfortunately we did play well enough to get a home quarter final tie and lost away hence no home games in this period.

Understand why they did it but it has been a long time and I do hope they change it back next season. Due to other commitments my next home game will not be until the 3rd January, feels like the summer break all over again.

Worried about how this game will go. Reported that Giants will be without Callum, Dickerson, Powell, Hudson and Ulph! Will they have enough for a bench?

Credit to them though, they didnt just decide to not bother. I know it should be a pre-requisite but we know too well its not a given in certain parts of the country.

More bench minutes than starting 5 minutes, four double doubles, all ten players scoring and seven players in double figures - we won't see that again this season ! Credit to Giants though, for sticking it out to the end with a rotation of 6 players - let's hope they can sort their problems out soon

What’s happened to competitive giants of last season with Clayton etc?? They all left, at least the important one(s) left. Not too certain how competitive they were last season but certainly struggling this season. Big Willie kept them in a fair few games last season but that hasnt happened this year. Really doesn't help losing so many players to injury tonight but credit to the club, at least they turned up!!!

Respect to Giants for turning up and kept trying to play. They could have decided to not travel like a certain other team.

Really good performance by the Eagles and good to see everyone contributing and the bench getting so many minutes.
Getty’s looks like a really good fit and has gelled right in with the team like he’s always been there.
Great to see Eddie getting so many minutes and playing well, is really getting the chance under MacLeod and taking it.
One of the highlight plays of the night was his alley oop pass to Getty’s late in the game and the chest pumping afterwards.
Really happy for him, a really nice lad and very humble. Grew up watching the Eagles and now getting his time to shine for the team he supports. The Geordie player the fans have been looking for all these years.
Credit to Manchester as has been said, they could have given up and not bothered but they didn’t so respect to them.
They have a good following and hope things get better for them soon.
Big one next Friday against the Sharks, they have had our number in recent games so need to prove ourselves against them.

Really don't think Eagles players settling or not settling in can be judged by last night. It was never going to be a serious competetive game and I'll be much more interested to see how they play next week against Sharks. They have been a match up nightmare for us for a while, so will be interested to see how it goes.
As already stated, credit must go to Giants for putting a team on the floor. I was sat behind their bench and they battled admirably.

Does look like the two recent Giants signings weren't available because they were still at work in their real jobs. Reminds me of the time when Mersey Tigers big man couldnt do every away game 'cos he had a better offer where he worked. Some things never change.

Jack may have ruptured tendons in his knee as it goes. He came off before half time in the Cheshire game.... But yes, I earned far more in my job than I ever would in the BBL. Says more about the game than me to be honest.
