Going to be a really tough game for Lions, Wolves have a decent team & they're always difficult to play at their home. Fans are generally loud & can be more hostile than other venues ( that's not a criticism, I rather like it).
I think Ovie may be missing today, I'm sure when he signed there was mention of him missing a game over Christmas so I'd think it's likely to be this one. If it has a negative effect on the team we'll lose. If they step up to show we're far more than a one man team(we certainly can be), then we can get the win.
Looking forward to it!

What a finish! I’d like to think if we’d have had Soko for this game it would have given us the extra to get the win.
But regardless, well done Wolves.

What a finish! I’d like to think if we’d have had Soko for this game it would have given us the extra to get the win. But regardless, well done Wolves. No point saying that every time you lose without him |

No point saying that every time you lose without him I agree, but when we lose by 2 points at the buzzer it’s hard to argue Soko wouldn’t have given us the extra to have got us a win on this occasion. But like I said, he wasn’t there and Wolves won fair and square. |

No point saying that every time you lose without him Would we have won the game with Ovie playing, absolutely! Should we have won without him,absolutely! You can't take someone like Ovie out of any team & not have a detrimental effect but we should have been better than we were. We threw the game away, simple as that. Both teams were wasteful with the ball but Lions were worse. Lions missed way too many of their limited free throws! Lions up by 11 in the last quarter & seemingly cruising, Wolves call a time out and come back in to the game, Vince called the time out far too late to stop the rot. Just needed to stop the game & regroup but he didn't, let it run on 4 points too many. There's 4 other coaches on the bench, they should also be doing better! Lions had no answer to Amir Williams, we defended him poorly for the majority of the game. You can't allow him to receive the ball with his back to the basket & allow him to back down & turn, he'll kill you(& he did), once he has the ball, you have to have a 2nd player at his front, not allowing him time to put the ball on floor & turn. We were hopeless at that. |
