Sun 29th Dec - Rocks v. Eagles 6:30pm
Note the later than normal tip-off. Celtic v. Rangers at Parkhead earlier on Sunday, delay to allow the crowd to disperse.

If Friday's team reappears, Eagles only chance is to get Glasgow playing in Glasgow !

Really looking forward to this. I believe it is main arena. Should be a cracker. Eagles have a good record in their against us but team morale must be high

I`ve just seen the worst out of game context foul call, shot was missed so no gain to Eagles, just a bad bad call

Great game from CJ 20-20 Gettys but Eagles still too reliant on Fletch.

Dont mind the tight defeat. Said before the weekend started i would be happy with 1 win.
Cj gettys looks in great shape. Evidently able to stay on the floor longer which allows fletcher to go play. Rocks didnt do a good job on his tonight. Didnt get enough out our imports tonight but you know what this league is close.

fairly sure that's first time I have seen CJ live - impressed by both his contribution and his court awareness, and he was first to wrap a team mate to ensure he never picked up a T as he looked like he was about to go off about a non call. Added to the wise heads of Fletcher and Defoe thought it gave Eagles the edge over Rocks who seemed to lack a leader to take advantage of Fraser's form.
Still scratching my head about the final 13 seconds - uncharacteristic Fletcher missed 5 free throws so surprised Rocks did not foul as soon as ball was in his hands. head to head only comes into play if you are tied with each other at end of season (I know obvious statement) so surely this early in season trying for the win is priority not restriction loss to 4pts versus say 6pts?

VL obviously decided that making two scores wasn't likely and opted for a 4-point loss in preference to what could have ended as a 6-point loss. Some coaches would do the same, others would have fouled Fletcher. CJ had 20 points, 20 rebounds, is there a specific name for that achievement? 0 points from Eagles bench. 0 points from any bench is quite uncommon.

0 points from eagles bench shows how flawed Kai Williams & Schlitzer are, they go missing when the going gets tough

No it's not too early to think about points difference with just one more league meeting between the two. It's the end of the garbage time for the bench and the end of the unnecessary fouling in the last 30 seconds or so. Coaches have to look at the longer picture, just think how you'd feel if that 4 point loss ended up as a 7 points defeat......then you go away to Eagles and beat them by 6. Could possibly alter your final placing with a head to head loss.
