BUCS

Loughborough are still one of the stronger teams in BUCs but are probably weaker than they have been for the past few seasons and they certainly no longer have the numbers of BBL players as they have had in the past. This season the only BBL player to play BUCs for Loughborough has been Josh Ward-Hibbert and he has played a much smaller role in BUCs than in previous seasons due to a combination of injury and the decision being made for him to only play at home (albeit as he missed a number of home games through injury he did end up travelling to Worcester to make the minimum number of games to be eligible for the playoffs). Even away from the BBL players a lot of Loughborough's more experienced players graduated in the summer meaning that the turnover in the squad has been the highest for a number of years.
That being said I don't think Loughborough's first team have played for a couple of weeks (and haven't played against any southern teams all season) but their second team did lose to MARJON last night so is it possible that you are getting confused about which Loughborough team it was that your team beat?
