Enjoyed this again and thanks for the in depth thoughts on the Scorchers. I agree with you that adding a quality point guard to this team would make it one of the strongest we've seen at SSP. Hopefully we can get most of the current squad to return (although I have my doubts as we've never managed that before).
I disagree though about the Yo-Yo nature of the Scorchers season. Actually this is an accident of the fixture list - we get off to a good start as 3 of the first 4 games were home to Flyers, Phoenix and Giants. The "slump" has only happened because the fixture list has now averaged itself out.
And you're dead wrong about the cup - we need to consider the fans watching (and paying) for what is effectively an extended pre-season. That's not right.

Great listen as always. Very much agree about the cup group stage, having said that I'm not a fan to be honest, I'd rather play more regular games during the season.
