I think it’s quite clear to us all that both of you have to be fair. Pathetic really. Well once we’ve passed comment on what wasn’t the most exciting if seasons due to imo a really tedious bbl cup format then the season ending early and maybe not the best quality we’ve seen. We’ve selected our teams, players, coach of the year then it all becomes a bit dull. We dont have the nix, royals, raiders, rocks merry go rounds to amuse us either. A little bit of trash talking, home truths, decent scrap and amusing put downs makes life a bit interesting imo or maybe I’m just a saddo with the same mental affliction. Conversely we could all be nice and make the blog site really interesting. |

Id also say rocks for 15 plus years were stable. New owner tries to reinvent the wheel and has taken a while to understand that a basketball is a sphere. I'd say outside our media team our 18months of instability ended at the start of the season.

Is it actually a paid basketball specific media team? Or the media dept of his company/companies trying to do stuff about a sport they know nothing about?

Rocks are/were sponsored by qtv i believe it was through them last season. I couldnt tell you this season. Since smillie took over he sold out alot of stuff to cut costs. Up until 2017 or whenever he bought the team all media was done in house.

Recruited well, won a pot, less turnover of players and I’m guessing invested heavily on the roster to support the coach. As have Plymouth but I suspect Paul James will need to deliver next season. Pretty low base point though I do miss potato head. I know rocks fans are very demanding which I don’t think is being disloyal to their club. I feel blind loyalty is more disloyal. Maybe a bit harsh though. Sterling was very much liked but I doubt anyone thought replacing him with Garboleto was a bad move. I doubt many could have seen what happened there or blame the owner. I felt a little sorry for Woods but Lavsndier looks a good appointment and I suspect Rocks could challenge at the top end of ghdcleague next year. |
