Would any of you want to see something like this on a basketball jersey? www.shop-chl.com/cardiff-devils-socckey-home-19-20.htmlThat is a football shirt designed to look similar to a hockey jersey, take away the sleeves and you'd have a Basketball jersey. Now notice where the flag is on that top, would you want to see the St George's Cross on the English BBL jerseys in a similar position. I know some European teams have a flag on the back above the player name but I reckon they'd be better on the front, it would make the jerseys way better.

those jerseys (that the fan shirt are designed on) are not used in EIHL games (UK), but are for the CHL games (EU) only. All clubs in the european comp have their national flag there - I know there is one exception being belfast who use the CHL logo instead of a flag as part of their being for both communities approach.
Maybe less something for BBL and more something for Lions in Europe?
It is easy done in a shirt design - club I am at, where Devils have that flag, we on our basketball shirt have our logo. By coincidence our shirt manufacturer has their roots in hockey.

There are already enough logos on jerseys and teams trying to find space for sponsors, let's not force them into having one more.

Don't like it either way. If Glasgow wanna do it then go wild but making it madatory does nothing for any of the teams or the league. There is no benefit to bothering at all.

Don't think this is something I want to see on club shirts. National team? Yes, of course. Otherwise, can't really see why it would be done.

I'd say it would do more to help highlight the fact that the League isn't just all English teams.
I do think it's worth doing in European competition as well.
Don't really think it's needed at International level as the name of the nation is always or most of the time on the front of the jerseys in the native language of the country. Like for example Lietuva is on Lithuania's jersey.

I know some Scots would find it hard to believe but generally I think the rest of the UK knows Glasgow is in Scotland.

It's more for the Americans and anyone else who think that Scots are English which we aren't. I'm in no way prejudiced and just thought that those hockey jerseys had a cool idea with the flags. I've always been fascinated with them, in fact I did a Zoom quiz last week with my sister & brother in law plus others from his side. Anyway, there was a round on flags, 30 different flags and I was the only one who got 30/30. I'm not just fascinated by flags though, I've recently got into learning about the Stans from Central Asia that were once a part of the Soviet Union. Kazakhstan are the best known, not least because they beat Scotland at football. I wonder if any of the others will switch from Asia to Europe like Kazakhstan did (in football terms) I'd have thought Uzbekistan. I read a few months back that Cardiff City once played a European game in Tashkent. Here's an article on that one www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/tashkent-love-tribute-cardiff-citys-7996833I also find some of the Stans leaders to be eccentric, especially Turkmenistan's Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedov Here are just a couple of his highlights

It's more for the Americans and anyone else who think that Scots are English You really think Americans care about this league? Do what you want but personally it seems pointless. If you wanna get real specific, I spent five months in the US last year and everyone there assumed I was from London so maybe every team should have the crest of their city on the jersey too to highlight they're not in London.
