Looks to me we will be replacing giants as the bottom team in the league unless gareths discovered some absolute gems. Feel for Murray Yeah I did think this myself.... little bit worried for Glasgow right now. Especially G, doesnt deserve one bit to be thrown under the bus and I hope the fans recognise whats happening. |

We all know on here that even good american imports are cheaper for clubs than average european players. I just dont get it. Shame the rocks franchise seems to have gone from well respected/ well managed under the reids to a laughing stock under smillie. I hope gareth is given the time. He deserves the full 2 seasons if he wants it but he needs to be backed. Ive heard we had a budget on the lower half of the league last season and Smillie has cut that again. Going to be tough. |

Feel for Murray I guess they could be waiting until the visa situation is clearer. No one really knows what's going on at the moment and Rocks may think that signing players who will actually be here when the season tips off is safer than players who might be stuck in America. Assuming the BBL season goes as scheduled, they have 8-10 BBL Cup games to find out if the newbies stink. That sounds like a plan. Or at least 80% of one. |

Hersey i reckon you are right that we will maybe run a squad of 8 and then add two americans around the turn of the year once we see what the future landscape is. |

I also meant to say that I would be most in favour of Rocks winning either the Cup or Trophy next season if those competitions could somehow be arranged over five rounds, with Rocks receiving a first-round bye. It would then be indisputable that Glasgow's hoisting of the silverware has been duly achieved despite their having only participated in 80% of the overall competition  |
