The Supporters Club/Glasgow Rocks Propaganda Wing has launched its website where you can pay £10 to become a member for the year. Membership includes benefits normally assigned to season ticket holders but in these times of need, the fans must be fleeced for every penny they have. It looks like, in the near future, that away support will be limited to Supporter Club members too who will turned into a Stepford Wife before travelling to the game. The franchise must not be criticised.

Just seen on twitter that in recognition of being a founding member of the OSC you will receive a Glasgow Rocks mug. In other news, Rocks move to purchase 80% shares in a game show prizes manufacturers...

As an occasional attendee - the game day experience seems the same (other than reduction in arena fixtures and sticking to the sports hall more), some of his personal involvement with press has been interesting and for many controversial but at same time i reckon I have in his time seen more of the rocks on the scottish news and the scottish press than in the years before. On the court the teams over the years have always come up short of expectations - so he has not ruined the franchise from a performance point of view, in fact could argue that in the curtailed season he had the club deliver a team going in the right direction and well who knows if they could have ended the long wait or not. Would love to see an owner who is in the background and lets the coach, the team and the GM do all the talking while he the owner delivers increased budgets for stronger teams and a dedicated facility where grass roots and BBL all using the Glasgow Rocks name come together. However cause he is not doing it that way and had not delivered any more than the previous owners - not sure in what way he has ruined the franchise? |

That's the problem though, he's on TV moaning about the decision to curtail the season, plus there was the NHS Scotland thing. He made us the laughing stock of the league with the call to be awarded the title. Yes the team improved on court but that was more down to Lavandier and the players.
Let's just put this to bed and move on

Weve seen coaches come and go. Back room staff come and go. Some pretty daming reports of how he operates too. Im of the opinion off the court the franchise has gone back 5/6 years. The media content is pish. The match day is less than its ever been. Luckily the on court action was better.

The same guy who has openly said that the fans don’t matter. The guy is a charlatan and just on an ego trip. |
