He's signed for a team in the second division, is the first division so strong that its beyond him? (I'm well aware he's probably following the money and rightful so, I'm just interested as know nothing about Japanese basketball)

So a couple years back Japan took their 3 leagues and just placed them in the league depending on a variety of things but not including talent. Its levelled out a bit now.
I'm sure MBA played div3 over there
