Dear followers & supporters,
It’s with this announcement to let you know that the wheelchair basketball club and its members have made the decision that we will be coming away from Plymouth Raiders with immediate effect. We have decided that the best way to continue developing the club and moving forwards is to regain our own identity again. We feel that it’s very important to have our own identity once again with the way that our sport is developing and moving forwards.
We would like to thank Plymouth Raiders as a club/organisation for giving us an opportunity to come under the banner over the past 3 years.
The club and its members wish Raiders luck for the upcoming season and the future.
Over the next couple weeks, we will be using the name Plymouth Wheelchair Basketball before unveiling our new identity and the next chapter for the club, which the club and its members are very excited about.

Another fall out from the takeover? Quite possibly. They were standalone until a few seasons ago I understand. Perhaps they haven’t developed as hoped under the raiders umbrella?

Plymouth wheelchair basketball is huge and has grown massively under Aaron who runs it. IMO they never should have merged anyway. I loved my time with them
