The BBL should be organising, promoting and streaming a free friendly game every week to keep everybody interested.

How do you suggest this is funded? What’s to fund? Players getting paid- venue available , only officials to pay which isn’t a great deal (£200 refs each, £50 table officials (?) Scorchers are playing Lions either end of this week or start of next - either venue would be free to them and cost of officials is small change

Professional quality camerawork, production and streaming has costs, the use of the venue has costs too. Not forgetting the travel costs for the away team. Sadly running sport isn't free

Sadly running sport isn't free Both of those teams venues would surely be of no cost? Surrey Uni or East London Uni? Players would drive themselves surely. It’s got to only an hour tops for either team. Cost of a live stream wouldn’t be expensive at all/ any decent media student or Uni set up could do for a few quid. Depends on how much the teams wanted to show it I guess
