Also hoping Makem Takem makes a return soon.

I'm enjoying The BBL Show on the BBL YouTube channel every Thursday. Quite nice to actually watch something, along with all the other good listens. Also hoping Makem Takem makes a return soon. Nice to hear that we are missed. To be honest when we launched three years ago we did so because there was no opinion based podcast focused on British basketball and we thought it might help the sport if we gave it a go to fill the void and spark fan debate. That is clearly not the case now. There are new podcasts launched almost daily, which is great to see. However, it feels that maybe our job is done and should leave it to the new kids on the block to take on the baton. That said no final decision has been made (Maybe that could be an hour long episode 'Makem Takem: The Decision') so who knows. |

Definitely agree, would like to see Makem Takem return. I’ve enjoyed seeing the number of podcasts emerge lately so we have a plurality of voices around the sport, and I’d hate to see one of the longest-running disappear. The more different voices and opinions we have around the UK game, the better.

Completely agree regarding Makem Takem. I thought the recent lack of shows was due to there not being much to discuss (which there wasn't) but assumed it would return once the new season started. I'd be disappointed if it didn't.
Yes, there are more british basketball podcasts around now than there have ever been, which is great. Doesn't mean there's not enough room for them all to co-exist - especially the good ones, which Makem Takem clearly is/was.
However, I appropriate all these podcasts are done voluntarily, so if it's a personal decision to stop or take a break then I'd completely understand that too, and thank you for everything you've done to date.
