There's a good, fair account of this game on the Riders website. Think we will improve on turnovers but what was very encouraging was the style of play, especially in offence. We are used to our intensive defence but the players put on a bit of a show, making baskets with some slick moves. Given it's very early days that's welcome news and bodes well. Mind you, Eagles are building a head of steam and look as if they have a squad that'll be a force which will take some stopping. One of the best BBL games in recent years

Agreed, apart from the result.
Riders have to balance their offense, with their legendary defense, didn't see too much of that last night..

Crazy game, really. Spectacular in parts. Eagles just edged it and did the right stuff in the last plays after the final timeout, but I think they were very slightly the better team for most of the game. Considering Riders have had next to no pre-season, not bad at all. Next week's game in Newcastle should be a good one. Can't wait.

Mark and his brother played for Durham. Think he coached there for a while as well, although I could be wrong

Yes I remember him getting time for Wildcats in their brief BBL days.

Well done Mark. My son attended his community sessions up until Covid struck. An excellent technical coach from a basketball family!
