Wish we'd had more warm-up friendly games before facing Eagles but it is what it is. The forwards may be the key to winning, for both teams.

I’m happy to pay £4.99 to watch Riders, even though Lions was free to watch. What’s happening at other clubs ?

It's actually a brilliant game, admittedly the remote camera missed a couple of baskets, but the shooting percentage on both teams has been phenomenal. 57 all at the half, Go Riders !!!
The on screen stats and scoreboard are better than anything I've seen so far this season, and, of course, Dan Routledge's commentary is second to none.

A brilliant game with a brilliant commentary and a brilliant result - well worth £4.99 even if the camera missed a few baskets and the score graphics only registers Nelson Henry.

We didn't look after the ball well enough at times and careless turnovers plus our free throw shooting cost us. There were passages of great offence by both teams. Eagles are a very good team and kept their heads in the final 3 minutes.

To be honest that post really peed me off but thanks to the 4 posters who liked my reply cheered me up. And if whoever whatsbevisdead is fancies coming up to Cheshire, forget it, stop at home and watch Match of the Day 2 as your Sunday night sport. |

There's a good, fair account of this game on the Riders website. Think we will improve on turnovers but what was very encouraging was the style of play, especially in offence. We are used to our intensive defence but the players put on a bit of a show, making baskets with some slick moves. Given it's very early days that's welcome news and bodes well. Mind you, Eagles are building a head of steam and look as if they have a squad that'll be a force which will take some stopping.
