Rather hoping Lewis doesn't show up for this one in terms of performance. He seems to be the catalyst for Sharks.

Does anybody know if Sharks court crew have been able to install the ice rink in time for tonight game. I’d hate for the game to be postponed, a couple of players get injured and this thread to go on for 5-6 pages.

Does anybody know if Sharks court crew have been able to install the ice rink in time for tonight game.. Apparently so, Lillard finding it impossible to stay on his feet. In other news South Yorkshire Police have issued a missing persons notice for one K Nicholls. Riders ball movement far superior. Sharks reliant on 1 on 1 moves, which has never been their game

About time the table sorted out the on-screen clock.

Think Riders will be happy with the half time score, especially as we haven't played that well over the 20 minutes. It's been steady but I'd like to see a bit more ball movement at times.

Lee, Nelson-Henry, Johnson and Washington were excellent tonight. That was a VERY good start to the weekend. Won easily and it should have been more except for giving the ball away rather cheaply at times.

Sorry to say, but we were hopelessly out matched last night. Riders lead tip to buzzer, and you just felt they were on the cusp of making a game winning run at basically any point from the second quarter onwards.
Another incredibly effective and efficient game from Washington, always good to see an English guy carrying a decent load.

Obviously missing Dirk, Koch seems half the player he was last season , tuck not getting any younger..

Last night
Kipper Nichols was our highest scorer
Antwon Lillard was doing OK until he was fouled out on a dubious offensive charge followed by a technical, for questioning " was that foul really on me ", he was totally bewildered ( rookie call ).
Mackey McKnight was mr Duracell
Rob Marsden was solid
Koch I thought was OK but couldn't handle Nelson Henry
Nick Lewis began to find his feet against following the London wash out, but tried too hard in the 2nd & 3rd qtrs, trying to force things
Mike Tuck, there's nothing wrong with his game , but with the other yunger guy's he's not going to start, but when he gets on court his leadership is fantastic.
Johde Campbell is a young guy with loads of talent, and will come out of this season a lot better player, he can only develop by being on the court & testing himself against top players, he wont learn anything sitting down, he is both good at the quick 3, but he does rush to that too often & too soon, he will learn, it's what we need but he isn't there yet.
We've played Lions / Eagles & Riders. beating a heavily stacked lions twice, ( the 3 teams who look like they will be the top 3 as things stsnd ).
Last night we had 24 fouls compared to 14 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! were 11 from 16 free throws and 37% feild goals
The 3 points success we made 5 Riders Made 10.
We also had at least 10 shots go in then spin out, that wont happen every week.
I dont think we have a problem, but I dont deny we could do with a run of games that will enable us to get the balance better, and get the newer guys more comfortable with playing within the systems we run.
Only time will tell, but I do think silverware is a realistic this season. This is sport no matter what you plan things dont always go the way you would like.

Obviously missing Dirk, Koch seems half the player he was last season , tuck not getting any younger.. Its really hard to say at this stage of the season with any sort of certainty. I'm happy with Lillard and McKnight, Lewis can be devastating at times, but guns it far too much when his shot isn't dropping. We're extremely unathletic with our bigs, although Marsden does find a way to be productive despite his lack of size. Tuck is a 8-10 minutes a game guy now and that's fine, but this really must be his last season. I wouldn't have brought Koch back, and I'm not particularly impressed with Nichols either, but it may be too early to tell with him. I don't know, I mean I suspect our budget is lol, and with that in mind, I guess getting past the first round in one knock-out competition and a 5th place league finish would probably be about par.

I agree it is 2 early and it’s unfair to maybe judge when Sharks and Eagles have only been playing Lions and riders so far
