Hard to see past giants. They seem full of confidence. Can they play to the same level as they did last game against nix? Rocks need to turn up and for me at least be competitive

Who’d have thought 12 months ago that Giants would be the last unbeaten team in the league this season. They’re looking impressive... already a contender for most improved team this season and we’re only a few weeks in. Great interview with the new owner in this week The BBL Show too... ambitious but level headed expectations.

The rebrand has worked out well, Rocks were awful Agreed. Feels more than just a rebrand though, more like a relaunch. Good luck to them, I’d love to Manchester with a competitive team again.

Giants looked fairly good when at the Nix a couple of weeks ago even without all their imports, mind you Nix were awful then. Can't see Giants anywhere near the bottom this year.

Looks like Danny has done well recruitment wise. Think we’ll have a better view ion Giants post Newcastle in December. Credit to the new ownership. Playing at the NBC is a major upgrade for them. All done very quietly.
Not really surprised by the result. Tough year ahead for Gareth.

I know these can perhaps be seen as contradictory statements as we have seen both sides against the same opposition
Giants - yep clearly a big step up based on last season, but till we see them against one of Lions/Eagles/Riders/Raiders/Sharks its not clear if a step up off the bottom to fighting for a play-off spot or a quantum leap to be playing for home advantage in the play-offs and a decent shout at a cup
Rocks - if stick with the squad as is, yep tough first year for Gareth but I think they are just one player short of fighting for the play offs and if he can persuade the boss man to add the right 2 then they could also be competing for home play off run and a decent cup run with the right draws

Episode 8 of my ramblings on the rocks. Tough away defeat against a very good Manchester side. spoti.fi/3lhF05zGood point. If rocks were to bring 2 in which i always have thought they would once crowds or something were allowed back at games.
