Another tough match-up for us so I'm hoping we can shoot the 3 well and improve as a team to beat Eagles.

The match has started on Livestats, but bblplayer won't accept my password even when I change it on their request ! Talk about dumb software - that's another £5 income they've lost !

watching livestats only, but looks close - Eagles one up at the half with 9 lead changes so far, and Shore scoring his first ever BBL points after just 14 sec - keep it up Eagles !

Too many turnovers at first by Riders- 10 in the first 14 minutes. 3 point shooting dire as well. Can't beieve we are only one down at half time.

Congratulations to Eagles. Deserved to win. We turned over too many times and our 3 point shooting was weak. Great effort by Riders but it felt all the time as if we were chasing the game unsuccessfully. Without Crandall we looked short of ideas in offence. Can't rely on one guy to pull us through. Would like Eagles to go on and beat Lions now.

Well Eagles hung on to win by 5 and hopefully a less one sided final than the Lions match last week.
First time I've watched by livestats alone, which was an interesting experience - how did Fletch get an assist for Pflueger's free throws ?

Well deserved win for Eagles. Exciting and close but a poor quality game all round. Riders were definitely worse though. Couple of plays down the stretch edged it, particularly the 3 by Gordon. Edwards the difference for me though. Really good player.
Riders seem to be going backwards offensively. Thought we looked really slick in the cup but we've made hard work of it since. Losing Mo a big factor but they just don't seem to be clicking as well. Flashes of the early season offence but relying on Crandall to go 1-1 late in the clock to get us out of a hole half of the time. Fraser and Falzon yet to really contribute. Means that if Washington has an off night there is very little scoring off the bench.
And ffs they've got to stop turning the ball over. Eagles force turnovers but I think we just stepped out of bounds 4 times and passed the ball straight to them twice. They don't need the encouragement.

It was bad enough missing the first three minutes with the log in debacle but to miss at least 4 scores because the camera cannot keep up is ridiculous. Don't rely on private windows. I use a private window via Firefox and still have issues with every single game. Picture and sound stuttering, chunks of game simply disappearing, regularly getting frozen out and multiple restarts. Oh and that's for a good game. Shambolic. Not as shambolic however as the ridiculous tip time. Not a real problem for me as I am now retired but for those still at work then the commute home would have meant missing a sizable chunk of the game. I enjoyed the game even though it was littered with mistakes but at least the refs allowed some contact  . Fletch got the assist as he passed to Pflueger who was then fouled. As long as one throw is made he gets the assist. |

Fletch got the assist for the pass to rex which resulted in the foul and free throw shots. It is only given if a free throw is successful. It is standard for Fiba stats and has been for a couple of years now. Great result for the Eagles. |

I missed most of this as travelling home from work but sounds like a big effort and much better than we were at the copper box, perhaps coach was right and we were really rusty |
