Signed for the Cavs in D1, they find the money tree or something?

The coach/owner is apparently a rich man and Cavs is his plaything. They are a very stacked team but Kai may only have been brought on for BBL Trophy. If he sticks around then they will push Solent very close. It might come down to coaching talent and I think Solent have the edge.

How many Eagles fans had a mini heart attack when they saw this headline?

Clubs can get some decent bargains in January, players are itching to play by then. We've made some fantastic signings for the second half of the season. The BBL moving their deadline back has made that a bit harder. I imagine he's signed a one month deal and they'll see how they go from there.
To echo Tony's words, they're very good and very deep, I won't be remotely surprised if they turn Surrey over in the Trophy. They'll have to be comfortably better than them because, as we saw against Surrey six years ago today, they won't get any help from the refs down the stretch if you're a D1 side in the BBL Trophy.
