Absolutely horrible. Horrific situation for 3 young men to suffer, its not the welcome i would expect anyone in my city to expect. Its a shame thst the statement says that nobody has been prosecuted.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour. It's a real shame those players have suffered such a horrendous attack based on the colour of their skins.
They are not monkeys, they are human beings just like anyone else.
I hope the scum who did this get caught

At this point its just making me depressed to be honest. There was a time Id have been raging and going mad on social media, but its just very sad now. How this is a thing in this day and age is beyond me.
And lets not pretend Glasgow is worse than anywhere else. This happens all over the place and blind eyes are turned every day.

it was heart breaking to see this news appear today - far too many intolerances and hates happen and too many think it is elsewhere, but it can be anywhere  what will make me sadder though is if this remains a basketball community story - glad to see the rocks tagged the scottish media and I hope they run the story in their news sections covering both the appalling fact it occurred but also cover the united condemnation, the support the club and fans and majority have for the guys any city, any country, the press need to ensure racism and all forms of intolerance and hate are in the open in the hope it helps drive change and helps education and finally drives this out society everywhere - the ones tagged have a chance to help, small steps lead to big change |

It really does seem that people are emboldened to do and say what they want nowadays. Terrible experience for anyone to have to go through. Made all the worse if the scum get away with it
