Power Forward. Forward Power. Number 4 (in position and shirt number). Big Man. I know I keep bringing this up!
Fundamentally the Scorchers roster was flawed. From early on the PG and PF were an issue.
Positionally the Scorchers have the balance now. Positions can be over rated though. To be successful you need to support variation. Scorchers though couldn't support the traditional line-up so made it easy for the opposition to take advantage of that weakness.
Scorchers now have four PG's and Tayo at the 4 as a variation is now a positive whereas as the default wasn't.
Probably not going to significantly change the Scorchers fortunes this year, but there should be more good performances like this one against the Lions. I think there will still be some struggles as well. The League is strong and it will be a push to reach the Play-Offs, but at least they've given themselves an opportunity.
Cashaw was missing again, Scorchers leading rebounder at sub 6rpg! But James is certainly making a difference with 38 boards in his last three games (after 6 on debut). Missed a few easy buckets so his shooting percentages should hopefully improve a bit as he's not a bad shooter. Should get a lot of double doubles going forward.

That aged well!
"I think there will still be some struggles as well." Got that bit correct. James was just 8 and 5 shooting at 22% tonight.
