Going to be interesting to see whether a week and one day is enough to watch Heron fly. Don't expect miracles but think he'll be better than last weekend.

That hurt. Congratulations to Nix who deserved the win.

Too sloppy when we had the lead and same old players contributing a net negative.
17 minutes, 2 points, 0 from 5 FG would be embarrassing for a student Rider.
Learnt nothing from last weekend.

This Riders team hurts my head. An incredibly talented group of players who play some excellent basketball in periods but consistently manage to find ways to lose games they should win.
The usually dependable Riders D definitely MIA in that final quarter. Nix knocked down at least 5 threes down the stretch and I dont think there was a Riders player within 10 feet of them for any of them. 3 of them just coming off a screen at the top. How can they just keep letting them come off the screen and have an open jumper.
Fraser/Falzon poor again. Cannot believe how much Fraser has struggled. Praying for Mo to come back. Even at 50% he'd be a huge upgrade on what we're getting at the minute.
Following on the theme of us going to pot when Geno sits. He only sat for just over 4 mins. And we were -8 in those 4 mins.

Wonderful reaction after the last two terrible performances. Excellent shooting and great efforts in defence. Who needs a squad of 12 when you've 6 or 7 quality players. Crandell apart, I think we've got the best backcourt in the league at the moment.

Have to agree that we looked complacent once we went 15 ahead. Too casual/poor finishing at the rim and stopped playing team ball. Seemed to be more about one-on-one offence. On a positive note, Heron looked to be settling in well. Falzon has not proved to be a good enough import.

I cant believe how riders fans aren't rating ali fraser. Last season arguably the most consistent british 4 in the league. Is it the system? The coaching? How did Lavandier get more from Fraser than RobP can?

I thibk the fraser issue is simply his role is greatly different to what it was in Glasgow. I csnt see him staying in Leicester next year

Good.
But also unfair to pick him out. Falzon also hardly setting the world on fire.

How did Lavandier get more from Fraser than RobP can? Given the contributions he's made I think the criticism is justified. Don't count how he played for Rocks because irrelevant to Leicester. Past glories don't win us games. Fails to put in easy layups and fouls way too easily.

The easy layups and fouls was something ali done alot previously under tony g/wood and drove alot of rocks fans crazy. Amazing the difference a coach can do to influence a player

I totally agree with you, but it wasn't just Fraser. We started the final quarter. one where Phoenix are well known for pushing hard to win the game, four points up, but with the weakest team we could put on court, short of playing the students. All of our talented Americans were sat on the bench together, watching for almost three minutes, as the hard fought 4 point lead turned into a 4 point deficit. During that time, Washington managed a layup, Anderson missed 2 three point attempts, Fraser missed one layup and fouled MBA in the act of shooting, Corey Johnson and Falzon didn't see much of the ball. When the Americans came back in, Washington stayed on and Corey Johnson went to the bench. Corey had been hot all night, and to sit him on the bench at this critical time seemed inexplicable. He came back in with 2 minutes left on the clock, hit a 3pointer with 35 seconds left, to reduce the deficit to 1 point, and was replaced by Anderson with 20 seconds left on the game clock. Apologies for the rant.

Totally agree about the players starting Q4. Needed to press ahead not allow Nix to take control. Hopefully, Heron will make us better, especially once he's scoring 3 pointers. Off atm but we know he's very capable from that range.

So considering about a week ago most rival supporters had already wrote the League off and presented Riders with the league trophy, How do you all feel now we have just lost our last two games, Do we still make room in the trophy cabinet or are you giving it to Vince and his circus.

Still think we have a great opportunity to win the league BUT with these significant wobbles on the road to glory we can't afford many more car crashes. Thank God we have an easy game next weekend. Oh, wait...

What's the longest losing streak you've had in recent years? Can't be much more than 2??

Same as before, riders could afford 2 losses, eagles sharks and lions have all lossed more games since so nobody’s made any gains except Plymouth B and they were 2 far back anyway
