Was painful to watch the first leg on Sunday and can't see much different happening in the second leg.
Delph and Keeling are underperforming and it looks like Murray is unable to find his best line up.
Jacdommni can't reach his potential with the minutes he's getting and Kwedi and Mpondo are frustratingly floundering.

Keeling, delph and murray, take out 1 we struggle yo get any rhythm. Boban had great dec/jan but now just seems to pick up soft fouls. Looks to me the 2 french guys have struggled to settle and both look low in confidence. Both have the potentkal to excel but must be tough. Different language new place and shut down due to lockdown hopefull they come good of sorts

Moving to Glasgow must wonder what the hell was that language they learnt at school, certainly wasn't whats being spoken here!!

Great chance to play some of the bench warmers tonight for London
Spencer needs to surely justify his return with a good game and Joe I etc should get a good 20+ minutes under their belts?

I nearly gave up on Still Game but acclimatised after a while and am really glad I persisted.
To the extent that Mrs S. and I have now visited Glasgow on many occasions, even travelling all the way up to watch the live version of Still Game at the SEC a year or two back.
Stopped the journey partway up to watch Wolves at Sharks and was supposed to be stopping on the way back to watch Wolves at Leeds (residing overnight in a hostelry at Scotch Corner), but then the match got postponed
As a footnote I would emphasise that no-one who wants to leave the SEC within two hours of a show's end should park in the nearby multi-storey - twas a nightmare, or even pish as the locals would put it

Lions reportedly flew on a private charter plane for this one. Potentially a BBL first.

Absolute class from Lions media team as always!! You really couldn't make up how truly dreadful they are yet they still keep the contract!! Obviously I had to grab this from someone else's Twitter as still blocked!

Likely to win silverware but unable to win in style with respect. Image isn't just what the players do on court but whats portrayed by the club across any media. As a rocks fan I'm left feeling very bitter towards Lions even after they've deservedly dismantled my team. Show some class. Win in style. Be respectful.

I see they’ve attacked Sam Gray’s grammar for daring to criticise their social media.
Rocks also (cleverly) changed their twitter name to “other team” and Vince replied thanking them for their hospitality. The HT score tweet has since been deleted, makes me think Vince was not happy.

Completely disgraceful performance from Lions social media.
Plus them doing *their after Sam said there was out of order. I hope Vince has a word with the person putting out these stupid tweets.
It's a rather sad indictment of the state of Basketball in this country when one team shows a complete lack of respect for the other and that we are discussing this rather than the game itself.

I’m really pi*sed off at myself for my grammar though haha
I feel they are trying to emulate NBA teams Twitter but are just way off the mark! In terms of the game it was as expected...

Lions reportedly flew on a private charter plane for this one. Potentially a BBL first. I saw DaveF suggested that on twitter, and the photos on Lions twitter appear to back it up as true. Even if they've got the money to do it, is this really the best use of such money? From experience a return trip is likely to have cost them somewhere between £5,000 and £10,000. And for a game which, lets be honest, wasn't likely to be an important one.

Can I just highlight that the disrespect is coming from whoever is doing Lions social media, not from the players, Vince, the fans, or the Lions organisation in general. Having said that, the organisation needs to take responsibility for it's social media content so I really hope they address it with whoever responsible. It's possible one single person is giving the entire organisation a bad name.

Of course it's rubbish and isn't helping anything, but I'm not really getting hung up on the social media accounts. A social media account isn't my basketball club, regardless of who's typing. Sitting in the stand around other fans cheering the five players on court is the club, and always will be.
And if it is bothering you, it's probably more effective not to engage. Raw numbers of follows, views, replies and retweets will be the measure of success, and there's probably little to no analysis of whether they're attached to favourable opinions. It's sloppy and short-sighted, but most likely to be the case.

When the funding gets pulled from under them because theyve seen no return, we turn to things like this and say "thrown it away on things like private jets". Christ they only have to look at the last team to go bust in their own city to be able to see that....

is it such a big deal this flight thing ? In the distant past seen Rocks have flown south (yes on commercial) for double headers that then involved hotels and coaches still at the other end. Bet they did not get much change from £4k for that unless they bought non refundable tickets months in advance and who can do that worth fixture changes etc.
So if you are not going to ask your squad to spend 8 to 10hrs on a coach each way then there will be more costs than just a bus and driver.
12 players, 2 coaches, 6 support staff - sound right for London based on what you see on the tv games. commercial flights at 7 days notice - call it £200 x 20 so at 4K just like that - but so few flights at moment going to have to stay overnight and so add 10 hotel rooms if lucky for total £500 but likeley to get to £1K. Sure they will get group rates so maybe get the flights for £3k
suddenly going to a charter flight option - at a time when those companies have very little business - is not such a stretch as could negotiate a decent deal. Get your squad up and down same day as game, no 20hrs spent in a bus, no mixing on commercial plane or trains.

Just had a look and I can book 20 return flights from London to Glasgow for 2.5k I'd be surprised to see 6 support staff fly though, most would only go if there's space on a coach
