Which hand is it? He can probably play with one hand, after all he can do everything else.

If he can't play again this season that's a huge setback for Riders. Only really have one PG left. Fingers crossed he recovers to get on court for us again. Need Heron to maintain the standard he set last game.

riders do have Scotland International, and ex Glasgow Rock, Kyle Jimenez registered. He is probably the best PG in NBL1 tis year, usually getting double figures for points and assists most games. Also, two years ago Riders won the league, and play offs without a genuine point guard.

Mvp type Players are irreplaceable, luckily you can afford to lose some games and still win the league letting him rest before playoffs. Washington is a starting level point guard though

You and see Kyle play here 1:30pm - Loughborough Riders v Bradford Dragons - He’ll have to get his skates on if he’s to make it to Bristol for the tip off after this game....

Leaving Loughboro c 3.30 to be in Bristol by 7, challenging, but possible.

Washington is a starting level point guard though This is me being honest about Washington. I've never seen a riders team and gone Washingtons on court were in trouble now. I think he is an above average bbl point guard. Probably starting on teams finishing 5-8 and a good back up on a title contender but would I rather have wilcher probably!!

If the horrifying possibility of no more Geno becomes a reality Kyle Jimenez, on paper, does look a decent shout as a 5-10 mpg backup the rest of the way. Just someone who can take a bit of the pressure off Conner to stay healthy, stay out of foul trouble and play damn near every minute of every game. But I think the evidence to this point suggests Rob has little confidence in any of the current crop of student players. Even when we were only suiting up seven senior guys, shortly before Fraser and Falzon signed, they barely got a look in. None of them played against Nix and for the 2:26 that Conner sat down we played without a PG... With decidedly poor results. Zero points and two turnovers on four possessions to be specific.
Losing someone as impactful as Crandall is obviously massive and I think it's made bigger by the fact that, outside of the PG position, there's really not that much ball handling or creativity on this particular Riders team. I think the brilliance of Geno has masked this at times. Plenty of other good (or at least capable) players on the roster but we're basically talking about a bunch of guys who can screen and roll, finish at the rim, play with their backs to the basket and/or catch and shoot. I fancy Heron is probably our next best ball handler but sparkling college credentials or not, he's mostly struggled thus far. Finally discovered a jump shot and positively impacted a game last time out but I feel like he looks to go one on one quite a bit and maybe still doesn't know the offense well enough to be the one pulling the strings too often.
Obviously a very helpful result for us yesterday but I'll hold off on the gloating a little while longer as I definitely feel we're vulnerable without our clear cut best player. Tbh if they defend against us the way they have in the last couple of meetings I don't fancy our chances of beating Lions much at all without Geno. Seemed in the last game that we were struggling just to get the ball over half court when he sat, never mind create any sort of offense. Important that we find a way to get the job done against the rest, ugly though I suspect it may have to be at times.

A triple double for Jimenez today, as part of a very comfortable win over Bradford. While replaing Crandel directly is impossbe at this stage of the season, Riders do have options, and Kyle Jimenez would be an assett to the team,

We actually tried to get him to shoot more to take his passing away. He certainly deserves a pop at the BBL and would definitely be a reasonable part of the rotation.
