I think the logic behind tonight's game being on YouTube is that it's not on Sky Sports Arena - the usual channel for basketball. Yes it's on Sky Sports Action, but some sports subscribers only subscribe to one sports channel, and if you want basketball that'll be Sky Sports Arena.
So if there's no room on Sky Sports Arena they'll put it on Sky Sports Mix - which is available to everyone with any Sky subscription. However, Sky Sports Mix also isn't available tonight either, so along with being on Sky Sports Action (which not all Sky Sports Arena subscribers have access to) they're also putting it on Sky Sports YouTube.
Hopefully that makes sense!
